I was cautious when I read about Lugless, I didn’t know if it was safe or not. I’ve now used it twice, and I have to say that I don’t want to gate-keep it from anyone because it’s really such a great service. I had many checked sized luggage shipped this way for my cross country move (the things I needed immediately, clothes, etc.) and it was seamless. I will say that it’s not cheap, it costs the same amount as checking a bag on a plane, but if you have multiple bags or oversized ones you don’t want to drag through an airport, it’s SO worth it.

I shipped (Jan. 22) my golf club case with Lugless as previously The maximum weight was 50 pounds. The cost was $35. It weighed about 42 pounds. About a week after receiving them I got an automatic additional charge to my Visa card by FedEx for $143 bringing tge total cost for shipping to $178. The airport charge would have been $35. Any phone number that I have been given to speak with Lugless customer service ends up being Fedex and they can’t help. Does anyone out there have a direct Lugless number? Thank you very much!
