What do people think about Harvest Hosts

Analytical review of the provided Harvest Hosts feedback reveals a generally positive outlook concerning the company's reputation and customer experience. Predominant themes include the convenience and uniqueness of overnight stays for RV travelers, as well as interactions with amiable host owners. Customers articulate enthusiasm for the variety of locations which not only provide rest but also contribute to the overall travel experience through stays at places like bird sanctuaries, drive-in movies, and farms. Recurring praise suggests that these settings offer a practical and appreciated contrast to conventional campgrounds, being less crowded and more integrated into nature. Indeed, the range of options and straightforward communication through the platform—underscored by a user-friendly website and effective customer service—are depicted as key strengths of the Harvest Hosts service.

Conversely, there are a few points of contention that have been brought up in the reviews which are determining factors in the company’s perceived value. A portion of users report issues such as the selection limitations due to seasonality or hosts not offering midweek stays, which suggests potential for improvement in availability and transparency of usable sites. Moreover, there is discernible concern about the rising costs of stays without provision of amenities such as hookups—also viewed in comparison to boondocking alternatives or cost-efficient public park alternatives. Nonetheless, while these critiques reflect areas where customer satisfaction might be enhanced, they do not overshadow the generally affirmative testimonials. A singular mention of merchandise quality, namely t-shirt fabric, may indicate a minor aspect of auxiliary service that could be optimized. It's important to note the significance of these individual observations as part of a larger trend or as isolated incidents is not discernible from the limited sample of reviews provided.

Harvest Hosts are awesome overnight stops for RV’ers when traveling nationwide. After a long day on the road, they’re super convenient for a quick stop, minimal setup, and frequently dinner and drinks. The museums, church & business parking lots, and farms are also super convenient when food and drinks are not a necessity. Every single HH owner we’ve met in the past two years has been sociable and gracious. We Highly recommend!!!

Some of your offerings feel like sketchy parking lots. I am hesitant to give negative reviews for fear of retaliation by you or the site. Also, it’s very frustrating to find that many of the sites don’t offer midweek stays during this time of year or aren’t even open. It makes the actual number of options a lot smaller than it would appear.

Enjoy being a part of Harvest Host, year fee is very reasonable buy the price to pay at each stop(with no hookups) is getting a little high. When I started out the suggested price for each Host was $20 and now it $30. You can boondock for $0 and city/County parks are around $0 to $20 a nite. Can get many RV parks w/FHU for $35 to $45. So $30 a nite with out hook ups seems a little pricey. That is the ONLY negative thing I have found about HH.
