The Norfolk hotel at Bognor Regis was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable. The meals were varied and good quality. Unfortunately we had no hot water for two days. We weren't offered any explanation by the staff or updated when the problem would be resolved. The journey home was very long and tiring due to the numerous drop off points in rush hour traffic. However, over all the holiday was enjoyable. We have another Alfa holiday booked at Easter and we are looking forward to it.

Just returned from a 5 day stay at the Anchor Head Hotel in Weston Super Mare. We stayed in room 203 facing the front, A bit noisy at times with traffic & no double glazing but a warm comfortable room. The staff were all very pleasant, the waiting staff worked hard. The food as always was very good & the portions were generous. The dining room was cold for the first couple of days but thankfully warmed up. There was a free drink every evening with the meal, however we were always served last & by the time we got it, our meal was half eaten, I had to buy a drink before we went down to dinner. I know it's not a big deal & there is water available, but I don't want water! I wonder if the hotel would let guests collect their free drink from the bar should they wish, rather than having to wait to be served at their table especially if they have to wait like we did. Just a suggestion!! The trip to Cheddar Gorge was disappointing. Most shops were closed, as were the caves. We were lucky with the weather, it was cold but dry, we didn't stay for too long thankfully. It certainly wouldn't have been much fun had it been raining. So apart from those few 'blips' it was an enjoyable few days break & we look forward to our next three trips with Alfa.
